ఈ ఏడాది ఆఖరు నాటికి అధిలాబాద్ నుండి విమానాలు ఎగురనున్నాయి.
ఆదిలాబాద్ జిల్లాను అభివృద్ధిలో అగ్రస్థానంలో నిలబెట్టే లక్ష్యంతో ప్రభుత్వం ముందుకు సాగుతోందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్రెడ్డి స్పష్టం చేశారు. ప్రజాపాలన విజయోత్సవాల సందర్భంగా ఆదిలాబాద్ పర్యటించిన ఆయన, రూ.18.7 కోట్ల విలువైన అభివృద్ధి పనులకు శంకుస్థాపన చేశారు. అనంతరం ఇందిరా ప్రియదర్శిని మైదానంలో జరిగిన బహిరంగ సభలో ప్రజలను ఉద్దేశించి మాట్లాడారు.
సీఎం రేవంత్రెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతూ, “ఎర్రబస్సు రాదనుకున్న ఆదిలాబాద్కు ఇప్పుడు ఎయిర్బస్ దిగే రోజు దూరంలో లేదు. ఏడాది తిరిగేలోపు ఆదిలాబాద్ విమానాశ్రయం నిర్మాణ పనులు ప్రారంభించి విమానాలు ఎగిరేలా చేస్తాం. పరిశ్రమలు, పెట్టుబడులు, ఉద్యోగాలు వచ్చేలా ప్రభుత్వం కట్టుబడి పనిచేస్తోంది” అని తెలిపారు.
రాష్ట్ర అభివృద్ధి దిశగా ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకుంటున్న చర్యలను వివరించిన ఆయన,
“రెండేళ్ల క్రితం ప్రజలు ఓటును ఆయుధంగా మార్చి నిరంకుశ పరిపాలనను గద్దె దించారు. ప్రజలే తెచ్చుకున్న ప్రభుత్వంగా మేము సంక్షేమం–అభివృద్ధిని రెండుకళ్లుగా తీసుకుని ముందుకు వెళ్తున్నాం. రెండేళ్లుగా ఒక్కరోజు కూడా సెలవు లేకుండా ప్రజల కోసమే పనిచేస్తున్నాను. ఇది నా మీద ప్రజల విశ్వాసం, దేవుడి సంకల్పం” అని చెప్పారు.
గత ప్రభుత్వంపై విమర్శలు చేసిన సీఎం రేవంత్రెడ్డి,
“విపక్ష ఎమ్మెల్యేలను పదేళ్లపాటు ప్రభుత్వ కార్యక్రమాలకు కూడా అనుమతించలేదు. తెలంగాణ ఇచ్చిన సోనియాగాంధీ ఆశయాలను బీఆర్ఎస్ ప్రభుత్వం నెరవేర్చలేదు. కాటు పెట్టిన కాళేశ్వరం ప్రాజెక్టు మూడేళ్లలో కూలిపోయింది. ప్రజల సొమ్మును దోచుకునేందుకు చేసిన అవినీతి ఇవాళ వారి కుటుంబంలోనే గొడవలకు కారణమవుతోంది” అని వ్యాఖ్యానించారు.
ఆదిలాబాద్ పురోగతికి ముఖ్యమైన ప్రాజెక్టుల గురించి మాట్లాడుతూ,
“అంబేడ్కర్ ప్రాణహిత–చేవెళ్ల ప్రాజెక్టును తుమ్మిడిహెట్టి వద్దే నిర్మించి ఆదిలాబాద్కు సాగునీరు అందిస్తాం. ఎన్నికల ప్రక్రియ పూర్తయిన వెంటనే మరో 40 వేల ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగాలను భర్తీ చేస్తాం” అని హామీ ఇచ్చారు.
సభలో రాష్ట్ర మంత్రులు వివేక్ వెంకటస్వామి, జూపల్లి కృష్ణారావు తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
