కాకతీయ ఇనిస్టిట్యూట్ ఆఫ్ టెక్నాలజీ అండ్ సైన్స్, వరంగల్ (KITSW)కి చెందిన ఎన్ఎస్ఎస్ వాలంటీర్ వి. సిద్ధార్థ (ఫైనల్ ఇయర్, బి.టెక్ – సిఎస్ఇ) నేషనల్ అడ్వెంచర్ క్యాంప్–2025ను విజయవంతంగా పూర్తి చేసి, జాతీయ స్థాయి ప్రశంస పత్రాన్ని అందుకున్నారు.
ఈ క్యాంప్ హిమాచల్ ప్రదేశ్లోని ధర్మశాల, మెక్లియాడ్గంజ్లో ఉన్న అటల్ బిహారీ వాజపేయి ఇనిస్టిట్యూట్ ఆఫ్ మౌంటెనీరింగ్ అండ్ అలైడ్ స్పోర్ట్స్ లో నవంబర్ 18 నుంచి 27, 2025 వరకు జరిగింది. ఇది ఎన్ఎస్ఎస్ రీజినల్ డైరెక్టరేట్ – హైదరాబాద్, భారత ప్రభుత్వం – యువజన వ్యవహారాలు & క్రీడాశాఖ ఆధ్వర్యంలో నిర్వహించబడింది.
ప్రిన్సిపల్ ప్రొఫెసర్ కె. అశోకరెడ్డి వివరించగా, సిద్ధార్థ 80 కిలోమీటర్ల ట్రెక్కింగ్ చేసి, 2,873 అడుగుల ఎత్తును అధిరోహించటం ద్వారా తన క్రమశిక్షణ, నడత, క్రమబద్ధతను చాటుకున్నాడని ప్రశంసించారు.
సిద్ధార్థ రాష్ట్రస్థాయి ఎంపికల్లో నిలిచి తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రాన్ని ప్రతినిధిగా ఈ జాతీయ క్యాంప్కు ఎంపికయ్యారు. క్యాంప్లో ఆయన రాక్ క్లైంబింగ్, రప్పెల్లింగ్, ట్రెక్కింగ్, జంగిల్ క్రాఫ్ట్, సర్వైవల్, లీడర్షిప్ వంటి అంశాల్లో ప్రాథమిక నైపుణ్యాలను అభ్యసించారు.
