అక్రిడిటేషన్ ప్రక్రియ మరింత పారదర్శకంగా అర్హులందరికీ న్యాయం

హైదరాబాద్: రాష్ట్రంలో అర్హత కలిగిన ప్రతి జర్నలిస్టుకూ అక్రిడిటేషన్ కార్డు అందేలా ప్రభుత్వం కట్టుబడి ఉందని రాష్ట్ర రెవెన్యూ, హౌసింగ్, సమాచార పౌరసంబంధాల శాఖ మంత్రి శ్రీ పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాసరెడ్డి తెలిపారు. జర్నలిస్టుల సంక్షేమం పట్ల ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డిగారి నాయకత్వంలోని ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వం పూర్తి నిబద్ధతతో పనిచేస్తోందని పేర్కొన్నారు.
అక్రిడిటేషన్ కార్డుల జారీ విధానం, అక్రిడిటేషన్ కమిటీ ఏర్పాటు తదితర అంశాలపై గురువారం సచివాలయంలోని తన కార్యాలయంలో సమాచార పౌరసంబంధాల శాఖ కమిషనర్ శ్రీమతి సిహెచ్. ప్రియాంక, ముఖ్యమంత్రి సిపిఆర్వో శ్రీ జి. మల్సూర్లతో మంత్రి సుదీర్ఘంగా చర్చించారు. ప్రక్రియ పారదర్శకంగా, వేగవంతంగా సాగేందుకు తీసుకోవాల్సిన చర్యలపై దిశానిర్దేశం చేశారు.
అక్రిడిటేషన్ కార్డుల జారీకి సంబంధించి ప్రభుత్వం ముందుగా జి.ఓ. 252 జారీ చేసినట్లు మంత్రి తెలిపారు. అనంతరం జర్నలిస్టు సంఘాలతో సమావేశమై వారి సూచనలు, అభిప్రాయాలను సవివరంగా పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకొని అవసరమైన సవరణలు చేసి జి.ఓ. 103ను జారీ చేసినట్లు వెల్లడించారు. ఈ సవరణల ద్వారా రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా ప్రింట్ మీడియా, ఎలక్ట్రానిక్ మీడియా మరియు డిజిటల్ మీడియా విభాగాల్లో మొత్తం 44,706
అక్రిడిటేషన్ కార్డులు పొందే అవకాశం కలుగుతుందని తెలిపారు.
గతంలో సుమారు 23 వేల మందికి మాత్రమే అక్రిడిటేషన్ కార్డులు ఉండగా, తాజా నిర్ణయంతో దాదాపు 21 వేలకు పైగా కార్డుల సంఖ్య పెరుగుతుందని మంత్రి వివరించారు.
2.50 లక్షల పైగా సర్క్యులేషన్ ఉన్న 8 పత్రికలకు 6,256 కార్డులు, 75 వేల నుండి 2.50 లక్షల వరకు సర్క్యులేషన్ ఉన్న24 పత్రికలకు 17,784 కార్డులు , 25001 నుంచి 75 వేల వరకు సర్క్యులేషన్ ఉన్న 30 పత్రికలకు 3,390, అదేవిధంగా 15001 నుంచి 25000 వరకు సర్క్యులేషన్ ఉన్న 169 చిన్న పత్రికలకు 11,661 , 15వేలలోపు సర్క్యులేషన్ ఉన్న 113 చిన్న పత్రికలకు 226, పీరియాడికల్స్కు 624, 20 న్యూస్ ఏజన్సీలకు 68 అక్రిడిటేషన్లు పొందుతాయని తెలిపారు.
అలాగే 21 శాటిలైట్ ఛానళ్లకు 4,431 కార్డులు, 8 జాతీయ ఛానల్స్కు 32, వంద లోకల్ కేబుల్ ఛానళ్లకు 200 ,డిజిటల్ మీడియా విభాగానికి 10 కార్డులు మొత్తంగా 44,706 కార్డులు కేటాయించినట్లు తెలిపారు. ఇందులో రాష్ట్ర మరియు జిల్లా స్థాయిలో 16,056, నియోజకవర్గ మరియు మండల స్థాయిలో 28,650 మంజూరు చేస్తున్నట్లు తెలిపారు. అక్రిడిటేషన్ కార్డుల జారీ నిరంతర ప్రక్రియ అని, అవసరాన్ని బట్టి మరోసారి సమావేశమై తదుపరి చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని నిర్ణయించినట్లు మంత్రి తెలిపారు. ప్రజాస్వామ్యంలో నాలుగో స్థంభంగా ఉన్న మీడియా ప్రతినిధుల గౌరవం, భద్రత, సంక్షేమం ప్రభుత్వానికి అత్యంత ప్రాధాన్యమని మంత్రి శ్రీ పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాసరెడ్డి స్పష్టం చేశారు.
