వరంగల్: కాకతీయ ఇన్స్టిట్యూట్ ఆఫ్ టెక్నాలజీ, సైన్స్ (కిట్స్ వరంగల్) విద్యార్థులు కూచిపూడి నృత్య రంగంలో జాతీయ స్థాయిలో ప్రశంసలు అందుకున్నందుకు ఆ కళాశాల వర్గాలు అభినందనలు తెలిపారు.
77వ గణతంత్ర దినోత్సవ వేడుకల సందర్భంగా, కిట్స్ వరంగల్ క్యాంపస్లోని అడ్మినిస్ట్రేటివ్ బ్లాక్లో జరిగిన కార్యక్రమంలో బి.టెక్ రెండో సంవత్సరం విద్యార్థులు ఎన్. పూజిత రెడ్డి, జి. హర్షితలు అద్భుతమైన కూచిపూడి నృత్య ప్రదర్శన ఇచ్చారు.
ఈ ప్రదర్శనను స్టూడెంట్ యాక్టివిటీ సెంటర్ (సాక్) ఆధ్వర్యంలోని మ్యూజిక్, డ్యాన్స్ & ఫైన్ ఆర్ట్స్ (ఎండిఎఫ్) క్లబ్ నిర్వహించింది.
పూజిత రెడ్డి (కంప్యూటర్ సైన్స్ అండ్ ఇంజినీరింగ్ – సిఎస్ఈ) తండ్రి ఎన్. శ్రావణ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి కుమార్తె. హర్షిత (సిఎస్ఐఓ – ఇంటర్నెట్ ఆఫ్ థింగ్స్) తండ్రి జి. అంజయ్య కుమార్తె.
ఇద్దరూ సాంప్రదాయ కూచిపూడి నృత్యంలో ప్రాథమిక నైపుణ్యాల్లో ప్రావీణ్యం సంపాదించారు. పూజిత రెడ్డి రామప్ప, కోటగుళ్లు, స్వర్ణగిరి ఆలయాల్లో ప్రదర్శనలు ఇచ్చి జాతీయ స్థాయి ప్రశంసా పత్రం అందుకుంది. అలాగే హర్షిత బద్రీనాథ్, కాశీ విశ్వనాథ్, పూరి జగన్నాథ్ ఆలయాల్లో అద్భుత ప్రదర్శనలతో జాతీయ స్థాయి అవార్డు పొందింది.
ఆధునిక డిజిటల్ యుగంలో ఇంజినీరింగ్ చదువు, టెక్నాలజీతో బిజీగా ఉండే విద్యార్థులు తమ సమయాన్ని, క్రమశిక్షణను, అభిరుచిని కూచిపూడి కళకు అంకితం చేయడం ప్రశంసనీయం .
ఈ శాస్త్రీయ నృత్య రూపాన్ని సజీవంగా ఉంచి, దాని గొప్ప సాంస్కృతిక వారసత్వాన్ని భవిష్యత్ తరాలకు అందజేయాలనే సంకల్పం తో ముందుకు సాగుతున్నారని కిట్స్ వరంగల్ ప్రిన్సిపాల్ ప్రొఫెసర్ కె. అశోక్ రెడ్డి పేర్కొన్నారు.
