జీఎస్టీ (GST) శ్లాబుల్లో సవరణలపై ప్రధాని నరేంద్ర మోడీ(PM Naredra Modi) స్పందించారు. జీఎస్టీ శ్లాబ్ల సవరణలతో దేశ ప్రజలందరికీ ప్రయోజనం చేకూరుతుందని అన్నారు. సమయాన్ని బట్టి సంస్కరణలు అవసరం అవుతాయని పేర్కొన్నారు. దేశ చరిత్రలో ఇది ఒక మైలురాయిగా మిగిలిపోతుందని అన్నారు. జీఎస్టీ శ్లాబ్ల సవరణలతో దేశ ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థ మరింత బలపడుతుందని తెలిపారు. ప్రజలకు నిత్యావసర ధరలు తగ్గుతాయని చెప్పారు.
ధంతేరస్ ప్రజల జీవితాల్లో కొత్త వెలుగులు నింపుతుందని ప్రకటన చేశారు. గతంలో పన్నుల పేరుతో కాంగ్రెస్ నేతలు దోచుకున్నారని ఆరోపించారు. తాము అలా కాకుండా జీఎస్టీ సంస్కరణలతో ప్రజలకు దీపావళి గిఫ్ట్(Diwali Gift) ఇచ్చామని తెలిపారు. కాగా, ప్రస్తుతమున్న జీఎస్టీ విధానంలో 12 శాతం, 28 శాతం శ్లాబులు తొలగించి.. 5 శాతం, 18 శాతం శ్లాబులు మాత్రమే ఉంచేందుకు కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయించింది. దీనికి మంత్రుల బృందం ఇటీవల ఆమోదం సైతం తెలపగా, తాజాగా జీఎస్టీ మండలి సమావేశంలో తుది నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు.
