• మేడారం మహజాతర లో ప్రధాన ఘట్టం ఆవిష్కరణ
• సాయింత్రం 6.55 గంటలకు చిలకల గుట్ట నుండి మేడారం బయలుదేరిన సమ్మక్క తల్లి.
• గిరిజిన సంస్కృతి సంప్రదాయాలు, జిల్లా ఎస్ పి గౌరవ సూచకంగా గాలిలో గన్ పేల్చడం తో బయలు దేరిన అమ్మవారు.
• రాత్రి – గంటలకు గద్దె పైకి చేరిన సమ్మక్క తల్లి
చిలుకలగుట్ట వద్ద కుంకుమ భరణి రూపంలో ఉన్న సమ్మక్క దేవతకు ముందుగా సమ్మక్క ప్రధాన పూజారులు కొక్కెర కృష్ణయ్య, ఇతర పూజారులు ముత్యాల సత్యం, సిద్దబోయిన మునిందర్, సిద్దబోయిన బొక్కన్న, కొమ్ము స్వామి, కొమ్ము జనార్ధన్ ఆద్వర్యం లో చిలుకల గుట్ట పైకి చేరుకొని సమ్మక్క తల్లికి దీపాదుప నైవేద్యాలతో ప్రత్యేక పూజలు నిర్వహించారు. రాష్ట్ర మంత్రులు దనసరి అనసూయ, అడ్లూరి లక్ష్మణ్ కుమార్, జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ దివకర టి. ఎస్, జిల్లా ఎస్.పి సుధీర్ రాంనత్ కేకన్ గిరిజిన సంప్రదాయాలతో పూజలు నిర్వహించారు. అనంతరం మూడంచల భద్రత మధ్య గన్ ఫైరింగ్ తో చిలకల గుట్ట లో రాత్రి 6.55 గంటలకు మేడారం కు సమ్మక్క తల్లి బయలు దేరి మేడారం గద్దెల పైకి రాత్రి చేరుకుంది. దీనితో మేడారం మహా జాతర లో ప్రధాన ఘట్టం ఆవిష్కృతం అవ్వడం తో భక్తులు పులకించి పోయారు.
ప్రతి రెండూ సంవత్సరాలకు ఒకసారి మాఘ శుద్ధ పౌర్ణమి రోజున నిండు వెన్నెల వెలుగుల్లో సమ్మక్క తల్లి గద్దె పై పూజారులు ప్రతిష్టించారు. ఇప్పటికే సారలమ్మ, పగిడిద్దరాజు, గోవిందరాజు ప్రతిరూపాలు మేడారం గద్దెల పై కొలువు తీరారు. ప్రతి రెండూ సంవత్సరాలకు ఒకసారి మాఘ శుద్ధ పౌర్ణమి రోజున నిండు వెన్నెల వెలుగుల్లో సమ్మక్క తల్లి గద్దె పై పూజారులు ప్రతిష్టించారు. చిలకల గుట్ట నుంచి ఆలయ ప్రాంగణం వరకు అశేష భక్తజనం సమ్మక్క తల్లికి నీరాజనాలు పలికారు.
