జిఎస్టీ సంస్కరణల ప్రాధాన్యతపై ప్రధాని నరేంద్ర మోదీ దేశ ప్రజలకు లేఖ రాశారు. దేశ వ్యాప్తంగా ప్రారంభమైన జీఎస్టీ బచత్ ఉత్సవ్ నేపథ్యంలో ఆయన ఈ లేఖలో పలు ముఖ్య విషయాలు ప్రస్తావించారు.
మోదీ పేర్కొంటూ, “జీఎస్టీ సంస్కరణలు ప్రతి వర్గానికీ లాభదాయకంగా ఉంటాయి. ప్రజల్లో పొదుపు అలవాటు పెంచడమే కాకుండా ఆర్థిక వృద్ధి, పెట్టుబడులకు తోడ్పడతాయి. రాష్ట్రాలు పెట్టుబడులకు అనుకూల వాతావరణం కల్పించాలి. వికసిత్ భారత్ సాధనలో ఇవి కీలక పాత్ర పోషిస్తాయి” అని అన్నారు.
అలాగే స్థానిక తయారీదారుల ప్రోత్సాహం కోసం దుకాణదారులు స్వదేశీ ఉత్పత్తుల విక్రయానికి కొనుగోళ్లకు ప్రాధాన్యత ఇవ్వాలని విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. ప్రజలందరూ ఇలాంటి ఉత్పత్తులనే కొనుగోలు చేసి వినియోగించాలని మోదీ పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
