వన ప్రవేశం చేసిన వన దేవతలు.
బుధవారం సారలమ్మ రాక తర్వాత మహాజాతర లాంఛనంగా ప్రారంభమై,
ఆ మరుసటి రోజు సమ్మక్కను గద్దెపైకి తీసుకురాగా.. శుక్రవారం, శనివారం అశేష భక్త జనం వన దేవతలకు మొక్కులు సమర్పించారు.
భక్తులు పోటెత్తడంతో మేడారం జనజాతరను తలపించింది. భక్తులు జంపన్న వాగులో పుణ్య స్నానాలు చేసి.. బంగారం తులా భారం,
మొక్కులు సమర్పించారు.
జాతర నేపథ్యంలో.. భక్తిశ్రద్ధలతో వనదేవతలకు దేశం నలుమూలల నుండి వచ్చిన భక్తులు మొక్కులు చెల్లించారు.
శనివారం ఇద్దరు తల్లులు
కన్నెపల్లికి సారలమ్మ, చిలకలగుట్టకు సమక్క, పగిడిద్దరాజు, గోవిందరాజులను గద్దెలపై నుంచి ఆదివాసీ పూజారులు వారి వారి ఆలయాలకు తీసుకెళ్లారు.
సమ్మక్క ప్రతిరూపమైన కుంకుమభరిణెతో సాయంత్రం ప్రారంభమై సూర్యాస్తమయం తర్వాత పూజారులు రాత్రి 7.55 నిమిషాలకు వన ప్రవేశం చేయడంతో జాతర ముగిసింది.

ఆసియాలోనే అతిపెద్ద గిరిజన జాతరగా పేరుగాంచిన మేడారం సమ్మక్క-సారలమ్మ మహాజాతర 2026 భక్తిప్రపత్తుల మధ్య ఘనంగా ముగిసింది.
వన దేవతలు సమ్మక్క, సారలమ్మ లు గద్దెలను శనివారం 7.గంటల 55నిమిషాలకు వీడి వన ప్రవేశం చేయడంతో ఈ జాతర పరిసమాప్తమైంది.
వేలాది మంది భక్తుల జయజయధ్వానాల మధ్య, ఉద్విగ్న వాతావరణంలో
అమ్మవార్లు చిలకలగుట్టకు, కన్నెపల్లికి, పయనమయ్యారు.
భక్తులు అమ్మవార్లకు “వన దేవతలు వనం లోకి” అంటూ ఘనంగా వీడ్కోలు పలికారు.
2026 జాతరలో భక్తులకు ఇబ్బందులు కలగకుండా ప్రభుత్వం అన్ని రకాల ఏర్పాట్లు చేసింది.
మేడారం జాతరకు రెండు తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల నుంచే కాకుండా….మధ్యప్రదేశ్, చ త్తి స్ ఘడ్, ఒడిశా ఇలా దేశ నలుమూలల నుండి జాతర కి విచ్చేసి…అమ్మలకు మొక్కులు చెల్లించుకుని…. నిలువెత్తు బంగారం సమర్పించుకున్నారు.
