వరంగల్, ఆగస్టు 13:మాదకద్రవ్య వ్యసన నిరోధక అవగాహన కార్యక్రమం, సామూహిక ప్రతిజ్ఞ బుధవారం Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science (కిట్స్) వరంగల్ క్యాంపస్లోని సిల్వర్ జూబిలీ సెమినార్ హాల్లో జరిగింది.
ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని కిట్స్ వరంగల్, వరంగల్ పోలీస్ కమిషనరేట్ మరియు కాలేజీ NSS యూనిట్ కలిసి, తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వ మార్గదర్శకాల మేరకు నిర్వహించారు.
ప్రధాన అతిథిగా హనుమకొండ అసిస్టెంట్ కమిషనర్ ఆఫ్ పోలీస్ (ACP) పి. నర్సింహారావు హాజరయ్యారు. యువత “డ్రగ్స్కి నో” చెప్పాలని ఆయన సూచించారు. ఆరోగ్యకరమైన, సృజనాత్మక జీవనశైలిని ఎంచుకోవాలని, మాదకద్రవ్యాలు, మద్యం అలవాట్లకు దూరంగా ఉండాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు. కిట్స్ వరంగల్ మాదకద్రవ్య రహిత క్యాంపస్గా కొనసాగుతున్నందుకు ఆయన ప్రశంసించారు.
తెలంగాణ మాదకద్రవ్య నిర్మూలన కార్యక్రమంలో విద్యార్థులు కీలక భాగస్వాములు కావాలని, క్రమశిక్షణ, ఆరోగ్యం, జీవన విలువలపై దృష్టి పెట్టాలని ఆయన సూచించారు. చివరగా, అందరూ “యువత డ్రగ్స్ వాడవద్దు, ఎవరినీ వాడనీయవద్దు” అనే నినాదంతో సామూహిక ప్రతిజ్ఞ చేశారు.
