పోలవరం–నల్లమలసాగర్ ప్రాజెక్టుకు వ్యతిరేకంగా సుప్రీంకోర్టులో తెలంగాణ రిట్
సీనియర్ న్యాయ నిపుణులతో సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి సమీక్ష
గోదావరిపై ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వం చేపట్టిన పోలవరం–నల్లమలసాగర్ ప్రాజెక్టును అడ్డుకునేందుకు తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం న్యాయపరంగా కఠిన చర్యలు చేపట్టింది. ఈ ప్రాజెక్టుకు వ్యతిరేకంగా ఇప్పటికే రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం సుప్రీంకోర్టును ఆశ్రయించగా, ప్రభుత్వం దాఖలు చేసిన రిట్ పిటిషన్ సోమవారం సుప్రీంకోర్టులో విచారణకు రానుంది.
ఈ నేపథ్యంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఏ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి, నీటిపారుదల శాఖ మంత్రి ఉత్తమ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి ముంబైలో సుప్రీంకోర్టు సీనియర్ న్యాయవాది అభిషేక్ సింఘ్వీతో ప్రత్యేకంగా సమావేశమయ్యారు.
పోలవరం–నల్లమలసాగర్ అంశంపై తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం తరఫున బలమైన, సమర్థవంతమైన వాదనలు వినిపించాలని న్యాయ నిపుణులకు సూచించారు. కేసుకు సంబంధించిన అన్ని సాంకేతిక, చట్టపరమైన ఆధారాలు సమగ్రంగా సిద్ధం చేయాలని ఇరిగేషన్ అధికారులను ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఆదేశించారు.
అనుమతులు లేకుండానే పోలవరం ప్రాజెక్టు నుంచి బనకచర్ల లేదా నల్లమలసాగర్కు నీటిని లింక్ చేసేందుకు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వం చేపడుతున్న విస్తరణ పనులను వెంటనే నిలిపివేయాలని కోరుతూ తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం సుప్రీంకోర్టులో రిట్ పిటిషన్ దాఖలు చేసింది. పోలవరం ప్రాజెక్టు అథారిటీ తక్షణమే ఈ పనులను ఆపేలా సుప్రీంకోర్టు ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేయాలని రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం తన పిటిషన్లో పలు కీలక అంశాలను ప్రస్తావించింది.
రాష్ట్ర ప్రయోజనాలు, జలహక్కుల పరిరక్షణే లక్ష్యంగా న్యాయపోరాటాన్ని ముందుకు తీసుకెళ్తామని ప్రభుత్వం స్పష్టం చేసింది.
