భారత రాష్ట్రపతి ద్రౌపది ముర్ము కర్ణాటకలోని కార్వార్ నావికా స్థావరంలో భారత నౌకాదళానికి చెందిన స్వదేశీ కల్వరి తరగతి జలాంతర్గామి ఐఎన్ఎస్ వాఘ్షీర్పై ప్రయాణించారు. పశ్చిమ తీర ప్రాంతంలో నిర్వహిస్తున్న ఈ ప్రత్యేక సముద్ర ప్రయాణంలో ఆమె పాల్గొన్నారు. సర్వసేనాధ్యక్షురాలైన రాష్ట్రపతికి ఈ ప్రయాణంలో భారత నౌకాదళ అధిపతి అడ్మిరల్ దినేశ్ కె. త్రిపాఠి తోడుగా ఉన్నారు.
