కాకతీయ ఇన్స్టిట్యూట్ ఆఫ్ టెక్నాలజీ అండ్ సైన్స్, వరంగల్ (KITSW) ఆడ మైదానంలో సోమవారం బతుకమ్మ పండుగను ఘనంగా నిర్వహించారు. ఈ వేడుకలను మ్యూజిక్, డాన్స్ అండ్ ఫైన్ ఆర్ట్స్ (MDF) క్లబ్, స్టూడెంట్ యాక్టివిటీ సెంటర్ (SAC), సహస్ర మహిళా విభాగం సంయుక్తంగా నిర్వహించాయి.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ప్రిన్సిపాల్ ప్రొఫెసర్ కె. అశోక రెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతూ, బతుకమ్మ పండుగ తెలంగాణ సాంస్కృతిక ఆభరణమని, ప్రకృతి సోయగాలు, మహిళా శక్తి, ఐక్యతకు ప్రతీకగా నిలుస్తుందని తెలిపారు. పూలతో నిండిన ఈ పండుగ పర్యావరణ హితమై, ప్రకృతితో మనిషి బంధాన్ని ప్రతిబింబిస్తుందని పేర్కొన్నారు. విద్యార్థులు తమ స్వహస్తాలతో పూలను తెచ్చి అద్భుతమైన బతుకమ్మలను అలంకరించి వేడుకలను మరింత అందంగా తీర్చిదిద్దారు.
కిట్స్వి అధ్యక్షుడు, మాజీ రాజ్యసభ సభ్యుడు కెప్టెన్ వి. లక్ష్మీకాంతరావు, కోశాధికారి పి. నారాయణరెడ్డి, అదనపు కార్యదర్శి మరియు మాజీ ఎమ్మెల్యే వొడితల సతీష్ కుమార్ మహిళా అధ్యాపకులు, విద్యార్థుల బృందాన్ని అభినందించారు.
