లండన్: ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ముఖ్యమంత్రి నారా చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు మనవడు, మంత్రి నారా లోకేశ్ కుమారుడు నారా దేవాంశ్ చెస్లో అరుదైన ఘనత సాధించాడు. లండన్లోని వెస్ట్మినిస్టర్ హాల్లో జరిగిన వరల్డ్ బుక్ ఆఫ్ రికార్డ్స్ అవార్డుల వేడుకలో, “ఫాస్టెస్ట్ చెక్మేట్ సాల్వర్ – 175 పజిల్స్” కేటగిరీలో దేవాంశ్ ప్రపంచ రికార్డు అందుకున్నాడు.
గతేడాది జరిగిన చెక్మేట్ మారథాన్లో 175 చెక్మేట్ సవాళ్లను విజయవంతంగా పరిష్కరించి ఈ రికార్డు నెలకొల్పిన దేవాంశ్ ఇప్పటికే చెస్ డొమైన్లో రెండు రికార్డులు సాధించాడు.
ఈ విజయంపై తండ్రి నారా లోకేశ్ ఆనందం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. “కేవలం 10 ఏళ్ల వయసులోనే ఒత్తిడిలో ప్రశాంతంగా ఆలోచించే తత్వం, అంకితభావం, ఎన్నో గంటల కఠోర శ్రమతో దేవాంశ్ సాధించిన విజయం ఎంతో గర్వకారణం” అని పేర్కొన్నారు.
ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు కూడా అభినందనలు తెలిపారు. “మా ఛాంపియన్కి శుభాకాంక్షలు. గురువుల మార్గదర్శకత్వంలో నెలల తరబడి సాధన చేసి సాధించిన ఈ విజయం ప్రతి తెలుగు వ్యక్తికి గర్వకారణం” అని ఎక్స్లో పోస్ట్ చేశారు.
శాప్ ఛైర్మన్ రవినాయుడు కూడా దేవాంశ్ను అభినందించారు. “తొమ్మిదేళ్ల వయసులోనే ఇంతటి రికార్డు సాధించడం అపూర్వం. భవిష్యత్తులో మరిన్ని విజయాలు సాధించాలని ఆకాంక్షిస్తున్నాను” అని అన్నారు.
